I love new wave, post-punk & related styles (particularly synth-pop, new-romantic, gothic-rock, EBM), musica popular brasileira (60s-70s), brit-pop, Madchester, shoegaze/dream-pop, indie-pop, house/techno, glam, progressive, kraut, british post-rock, classic Motown, funk/disco, baroque pop (60s), garage rock (60s), punk (70s), FM pop-rock (70s), country (50s-60s-70s), crooners, french pop (60s), japanese rock (70s), new wave of british heavy metal, hard-rock (70s), some jazz.
As of the remaining genres (new-age, world-music, reggae/dub, industrial, hardcore & post-hardcore, metal after "Kill Em All", blues, noise, drones, ambient, math & american post-rock, drum&bass, dubstep, hip-hop, grunge/stoner, Pitchfork-styled indie-rock), I have no problems appreciating some records, but I can't say I love them as a whole.
